Mount completes loan move after signing Chelsea deal

Teenage midfielder Mason Mount has completed a season-long loan move to Vitesse Arnhem after signing a new four-year contract at Chelsea.

The 18-year-old scored four times in 27 appearances for the Blues’ development side last term, playing against the first teams of Swindon, Exeter and Oxford in the EFL Trophy.[phone][/phone]

Having won several trophies with Chelsea’s youth teams, he is now set for further experience of senior football in the Dutch top flight.

Mount’s team-mates at Vitesse include fellow Chelsea loanees Fankaty Dabo and Charlie Colkett, while his former colleague Mukhtar Ali completed a permanent move there earlier this month.
