Palmer signs Chelsea deal and rejoins Huddersfield

Kasey Palmer has signed a new contract at Chelsea and rejoined Huddersfield on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old midfielder impressed while on loan with the Yorkshire club last season, helping them win promotion via the play-offs.

He is now set for a chance to show what he can do in the Premier League – and Chelsea have moved to cement his long-term future with the club.

Palmer’s new deal means he is under contract with the Blues until 2021.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield are looking to sign Izzy Brown on a permanent basis.

Brown also impressed while on loan with the Terriers from Chelsea last season.
