Transfer speculation in Sunday’s newspapers involving Chelsea….
There continues to be speculation over who Chelsea might sign now the club’s transfer ban has been lifted.
The Mail on Sunday say Jadon Sancho is the Blues’ main target and that the England international would be keen to move to Stamford Bridge from Borussia Dortmund.
The newspaper say Chelsea will have to pay around £100m for Sancho and are also keen on RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.
Ake speculation continues
Chelsea also continue to be linked with their former defender Nathan Ake.
They have an option to buy back Ake from Bournemouth for £40m as part of the deal which saw him sold to the south coast club.
The Sunday Telegraph say manager Frank Lampard will assess the fitness and form of Antonio Rudiger, who is on the way back from injury, before deciding whether to take Ake, 24, back to the Bridge.
The Sunday Telegraph also say Olivier Giroud could ask for a move and that Pedro and Marcos Alonso might look to leave as well when the transfer window reopens next month.
