Transfer gossip: Real to offer £70m for Hazard, Sun say

Some of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

There remains speculation over the future of Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

Hazard, whose contact at Stamford Bridge expires in 2020, continues to be linked with Real Madrid.

And The Sun claim Real plan to offer Chelsea £70m for him at the end of the season.

Chelsea are appealing against a transfer ban and are set to challenge Fifa’s refusal to suspend it this summer until the appeal is heard.

The Daily Telegraph have suggested that Chelsea are therefore drawing up a Plan A and a Plan B – and that both are likely to include selling Hazard to Real.

It comes amid reports that Zinedine Zidane’s return as Real boss means Hazard is more likely to join the Spanish club.

The Telegraph also claimed earlier this week that Real have made an approach to Chelsea with a view to agreeing a deal.

Roma linked with Drinkwater

Roma have been linked with Danny Drinkwater following their appointment of Claudio Ranieri as boss.

Calcio Mercato say Ranieri wants to sign the Chelsea midfielder, who previously played under him at Leicester.

Celtic want Kalas – reports

Scottish press reports continue to link Celtic with Tomas Kalas.

The Czech defender, who was on loan at Fulham last season, is currently on loan from Chelsea at Bristol City, who are also said to be keen to sign him this summer.
