Transfer gossip: Zouma could join Sevilla, Goal say

Kurt Zouma has been linked with a move to Sevilla as part of a deal for Jules Kounde.

Chelsea have been discussing a possible move for France defender Kounde, who has a £68m release clause in his contract.


Goal.com say Zouma could join the Spanish club in part-exchange.

The Express have since picked up on 90min.com speculating that Zouma, Davide Zappacosta, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Matt Miazga or Kenedy could be offered to Sevilla and that a loan move for Malang Sarr might be another option.


Newcastle reportedly want Chelsea duo

Newcastle are reportedly interested in Chelsea midfielders Ross Barkley and Conor Gallagher.

The Magpies are hoping to complete a deal to sign Arsenal’s Joe Willock, who was on loan with them last season.

But The Athletic claim Newcastle are keen on the Chelsea duo regardless of whether Willock is signed.

Chelsea plan to send Gallagher out on loan again and he is wanted by Crystal Palace. Leeds have also been linked with him.


Lukau speculation

Speculation continues over the future of former Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, who has been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge.

The Daily Star pick up on more reports in Italy claiming that Chelsea are chasing a deal to re-sign the Belgium striker.

The Mirror, on the other hand, cite other reports suggesting that Lukaku will stay stay at Inter Milan.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe Marotta is quoted as saying: “From our side, we can say yes absolutely, Lukaku is not for sale.”

Some reports recently declared that Chelsea are in “secret” talks to sign him.

Those stories appeared to have emanated from Telegraph journalist Matt Law saying on the London is Blue podcast that he believes Lukaku is a transfer target.


Arsenal ‘ready to meet Abraham’s wage demands’

Arsenal are ready to meet Tammy Abraham’s wage demands in order to sign the Chelsea striker, according to the Express.

The newspaper say Abraham is on around £80,000 a week at Chelsea but wants £125,000 in order to move to the Emirates Stadium – and the Gunners have indicated that they are willing to offer him that amount.

Arsenal have been tipped to sign Abraham on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy him for £40m next summer.
