Chelsea youngsters feature as England Under-21s reach final

Five Chelsea players featured as England Under-21s beat Scotland 3-1 in the semi-final of the Toulon Tournament.

Jake Clarke-Salter and Jay Dasilva both started for England, while fellow Chelsea youngsters Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori came on as second-half substitutes for the Young Lions. 

Billy Gilmour, also of Chelsea, featured for Scotland, who went ahead courtesy of a superb goal by Celtic’s Michael Johnston.

England hit back in the second half, with Arsenal forward Edward Nketiah scoring twice after setting up an equaliser for Everton’s Callum Connolly.

England, who are attempting to win the tournament for the third time in a row, will face Mexico in Saturday’s final.
