Chelsea youngster tipped to emulate Hudson-Odoi

Billy Gilmour could follow in the footsteps of Chelsea team-mate Callum Hudson-Odoi and make his full international debut before he has started a match for his club, according to former Rangers colleague Kenny Miller.

Scotland Under-21 international Gilmour made his Blues debut as a substitute in the 2-2 draw with Sheffield United at the end of August.[phone]

Former Scotland striker Miller was at Rangers when Gilmour came through the ranks before his move to Stamford Bridge in 2017.

Miller told BBC Scotland that the 18-year-old “will be one of the best players in the national team when once he gets there”.

Eighteen-year-old winger Hudson-Odoi, who is yet to play this season because of injury, started for England before he had been named in the starting line-up for Premier League match.
