The stories involving Chelsea in Sunday’s newspapers…

There continues to be speculation over the future of Eden Hazard.

The Chelsea star has spoken of his dilemma over whether to sign a new contract or leave the door open to a potential move to Real Madrid.

Hazard has since said he would be happy to stay at Stamford Bridge, prompting reports that he is ready to sign a new deal worth £300,000.

Now the Sunday Express go further, declaring that Chelsea are willing to make him the Premier League’s highest-paid player by giving him as much as £350,000 a week.

That would apparently be more than the wages of Manchester United duo Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba and Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil.

Hazard’s current contract runs until 2020.

Meanwhile, The Sun on Sunday say Chelsea are desperate for N’Golo Kante to sign a new contract amid apparent interest from Real Madrid.

The newspaper says its sources suggest Kante is happy at Chelsea and would not be interested in joining Paris St-Germain or Juventus, who have also been linked with him, but that he would consider a move to Real.

And Chelsea’s former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic, according to the Daily Star Sunday, which says the Blues are also interested in the defender.
