Transfer speculation involving Chelsea in Saturday’s newspapers…

AC Milan reportedly want an option to buy Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori as part of any loan deal.

Tomori will be allowed to leave on loan this month after falling down the pecking order of centre-backs at Chelsea.


Milan have been linked with the 23-year-old along with Newcastle and Leeds.

But The Guardian reports that Milan want a clause in the deal which would enable the Italian club to buy Tomori for around £26m at the end of the season.


Blues keen to keep Giroud – Sun

Chelsea will ‘fight to keep Olivier Giroud’, The Sun declare.

It comes amid reports that talks with Juventus over a potential deal for Giroud to move to Turin have stalled.

The Sun say Blues boss Frank Lampard is keen to keep the veteran striker at Stamford Bridge.


Drinkwater tipped to complete loan move

Danny Drinkwater is set to join Turkish side Kasimpasa on loan, the Daily Mail reports.

Drinkwater is not in Lampard’s plans and Chelsea have been keen to offload him for some time.

Clubs in a number of countries, including Turkey, were recently made aware of the midfielder’s availability.
