Transfer gossip: Jorginho among players Mirror suggest Chelsea could sell

Some of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Chelsea could raise £170m for new players by selling seven of the current squad, it’s claimed.

Jorginho is among the players the Mirror say could be offloaded by the club this summer.

The midfielder has been linked with a return to Italy and the Mirror suggest Chelsea could let him go.

Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso, Ross Barkley, keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and strikers Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner are among those also touted for moves.

Inter said to be keen on Loftus-Cheek

Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is again being linked with a possible move to Italy.

The Daily Mail say Inter Milan are interested in Loftus-Cheek, who has also been linked with Lazio and Roma.

Chelsea ‘favourites to sign Dembele’

Chelsea are reported to be favourites to sign Ousmane Dembele on a free transfer.

The 25-year-old joined Barcelona for around £120m five years ago but his contract expires this summer and he will be available on a free transfer.

Chelsea have been linked with him multiple times in the last couple of years – and The Sun suggest the Blues are in pole position to sign him and that Demebele is on course to be the club’s first signing under new owner Todd Boehly.

The story is based largely on Talksport recently suggesting that Dembele could be heading to Stamford Bridge.

Clubs linked with Clarke-Salter

Coventry and Sheffield United are both said to be keen to sign Jake Clarke-Salter.

The 24-year-old defender’s Chelsea contract is about to expire and he is set to move on.

He impressed on loan last season at Coventry, who are looking to sign him on a permanent deal this summer.

Football Insider say Sheffield United are also interested in the centre-back.

West Ham ‘make move for Broja’

Football Insider also claim West Ham have made an approach for Armando Broja.

The Chelsea forward is wanted by Southampton, where he was on loan last season.

Several other clubs have also been linked with him and Hammers boss David Moyes is said to be eager to sign him.

Lampard tipped to target Chelsea duo

Frank Lampard is being tipped to try to take midfielders Conor Gallagher and Billy Gilmour to Everton from his former club Chelsea.

Gilmour was given his Chelsea debut by Lampard, while Gallagher enjoyed an excellent season on loan at Crystal Palace and broke into the England side.

Various reports suggest Lampard is keen to snap them up for next season.

Italian clubs linked with Pulisic

AC Milan and Juventus are monitoring Christian Pulisic, according to the Daily Mail.

The story appears to be based on Pulisic apparently indicating while on international duty with the United States that he is unhappy with his limited game time at Chelsea.

“Of course, I want to get more playing time.” he said.

“I want to be on the field as much as I can and be the sharpest I can be and fit as well.

“I think I still got a lot of games, but it’s always something that I’m working at and trying to be regular at club level.”

Lukaku ‘wants Inter return’

Lukaku continues to be linked with a return to Inter Milan.

Sky Sports say Lukaku would like to rejoin the Italian club if a deal can be done but that Inter would struggle to afford to buy him back.

The story is similar to one recently run by The Guardian, which reported that Inter would meet with Lukaku’s lawyers to discuss a potential loan deal.

Chelsea said to be confident of Kounde deal

The Sun have picked up on reports in Spain that Chelsea believe they will sign Jules Kounde.

France defender Kounde was previously a Blues target and they have been tipped to sign him from Sevilla this summer.
