Following recent reports that Chelsea want Mauricio Pochettino. The Sunday Telegraph say the Blues are resigned to him staying at Tottenham.
Former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique – touted as the favourite for the job before reports Chelsea had cooled their interest – is the man most likely to take over at Stamford Bridge, the Sunday Telegraph say.
Chelsea are widely tipped to part with Antonio Conte this summer and it was recently claimed that Pochettino was being eyed as a possible new manager.
It came after the Argentine sparked speculation about his own future by saying he planned talks with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and wanted the north London club to show ambition.
Now the pair are said to have held positive discussions, with Levy keen for Pochettino to sign a new contract.
The Sunday Telegraph therefore say there is little hope at Chelsea that Pochettino will look for a way out.
Meanwhile, The Sun on Sunday continue to link Chelsea with Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
It is claimed that the Poland international recently met with agent Pini Zahavi to discuss a potential move to Chelsea or Real Madrid.
Spanish newspaper Marca has since reported that Real are not interested, supposedly paving the way for Chelsea to sign him.
