Chelsea are assessing Branislav Ivanovic’s thigh problem ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League encounter with Benfica.
The defender picked the injury during last week’s defeat against Manchester City and missed Saturday’s draw with Tottenham.
He failed a fitness test ahead of the Spurs clash and was replaced by Jose Bosingwa.
Ivanovic scored the extra-time winner against Napoli in the previous round which took his side through to the quarter-finals.
