Pardew has ‘no interest at all’ in signing Ivanovic

Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has denied reports he is considering a move for Branislav Ivanovic.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday morning, Pardew insisted his club had shown “no interest at all” in the Chelsea defender.

It follows speculation that Palace might move for Ivanovic, 32, when the transfer window reopens in January.

Ivanovic faces a battle to regain his place in the Blues first team and his current contract is due to expire at the end of the season.

There have therefore been reports that he is coming to the end of his time at Chelsea after nearly nine years at Stamford Bridge, and a number of clubs have been linked with him in recent months.
