Coventry looking to complete Maatsen loan deal

Chelsea youngster Ian Maatsen is set for another loan move, with Coventry City keen to complete a deal to sign him on a season-long deal.

The 19-year-old was on loan at Charlton last season and made 35 appearances for the south London side.


He has featured once for Chelsea’s first team – as a substitute in a Carabao Cup tie against Grimsby in 2019.

A number of clubs have expressed an interest in him but Coventry are looking to finalise a deal in the next 24 hours.
