Antonio Conte has thanked Chelsea fans for the support they have shown him.

Reports suggest the Italian is close to losing his job as Blues boss.

And back-to-back league defeats against Bournemouth and Watford – following the Carabao Cup semi-final lost against Arsenal – have further increased speculation that he will not last until the end of the season.

Chelsea play West Brom in the Premier League on Monday and Hull at home in the FA Cup on Friday – after which they face Barcelona at home in the Champions League and away trips to Manchester United and Manchester City in the league.

Conte, who guided Chelsea to the Premier League title in his his first season in charge, said: “For sure I have to tell thanks to the fans.

“From the start of my experience with Chelsea they try to stay behind me in every game and they continue to do this and I am happy and proud for this.

“They understand that I am giving all myself and maybe more for this club. I want to tell thanks to the fans because they deserve the best and I will try with my players to give them my best.”
