Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says he is open-minded about who to select in goal for Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final against Leicester City.
Back-up keeper Willy Caballero has played every round of the competition so far, keeping clean sheets in all but the third-round replay against Norwich, when he made match-winning saves in the penalty shootout.
But the Argentine could lose his place to regular first-choice Thibaut Courtois at the King Power Stadium.
The Belgian was preferred to Caballero for the first leg of the Caraboa Cup semi-final against Arsenal.
He made a costly mistake in the 3-0 Champions League defeat against Barcelona on Wednesday, allowing Lionel Messi’s early effort to go through his legs.
However, Conte said: “I think that we are talking about two good goalkeepers – Thibaut and Willy.
“We don’t have rules for the competition. On Sunday I will try to make the best decision because I want to go to the next round.”
Conte added that the fact Chelsea’s fixture list is now easing following the Champions League exit means he has less need to rotate the squad.
“Now we are not playing every three days,” Conte explained.
“We played against Barcelona but we have time to recover and rest – and for this reason I will pick the best solution for this game.”

I insist chelsea to struggle in transfer market....courtoise to go where he want to go...we chelsea fans we are tired of the mistake he does.we dont need he any longer..he is slow all the time he is not smart,nor confident, can he imitate from other tanlented goal keeper with less age than he..chelsea board we chelsea are crying of keeper pls we need goal keeper smart keeper like man city,barca,madric,ac milan,roma keepers pls...that is one dimension keeper,secondly chelsea should start making use of david luiz we need he....in big game just like barca,thirdly chelsea should buy creative midfield clever like kante...and chelsea player to be warn,hazard is tired, they are not cooperative to him....mind u he is still the weapon of the club...i think these are some of challenges chelsea are suffer with it.

Yeah I agree with Cliff, Courtois sometimes loose focus. Look at what he did against Baca.
Forget Thibaut courtois. Infact sale him out. he has no place in chelsea. Fake ass G. For him, the post should be left empty.
