Conte rues more missed chances for Chelsea

Boss Antonio Conte says he is “bored” with having to constantly talk about how many chances Chelsea are missing.

The Blues were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham at Stamford Bridge, with Javier Hernandez cancelling out Cesar Azpilicueta’s first-half strike 17 minutes from the end.

But Conte was angered by another game which saw his side spurn countless chances, with Eden Hazard, Willian and Alvaro Morata particularly guilty.

“You must be clinical. Otherwise something can happen,” the Italian said.

“We must be frustrated for the final result but this game shows our season. Many games where you have a good performance and create many chances and are not clinical.

“How many times have I said to you ‘We didn’t take our chances’? A lot of times. And then one chance for West Ham and we concede a goal.

“I became a bit bored listening always to the same thing. This is our season.

“I am frustrated for everyone. We win, lose and draw together. We have to share the responsibility.

“It is very difficult for me to explain this game. We are talking about a draw after we have dominated.”
