Chelsea youngsters score 10 and Brentford’s B side beat QPR

Chelsea’s Under-19s demolished Norwegian side Molde 10-1 in an extraordinary game on Wednesday afternoon.

In a totally one-sided Uefa Youth League first round first leg at the Blues’ Cobham training ground, Chelsea – finalists for the past three seasons – were dominant from the start.

There were hat-tricks for Billy Gilmour (pictured) and Daishawn Redan, while Charlie Brown scored twice and George McEachran also found the net.

Meanwhile, a last-minute strike by Joe Hardy – his second goal of the game – gave Brentford’s B team a 3-2 win in a friendly against QPR.

Rangers had twice equalised, with Joe Felix and Mikel Platt scoring after Hardy and then Kolbeinn Finnsson had put the home side ahead.
