Chelsea Under-18s beat Man Utd

George McEachran scored an injury-time winner and Conor Gallagher netted twice from the penalty spot as Chelsea’s Under-18s beat Manchester United 4-3.

Juan Castillo also scored for the young Blues in an entertaining game at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground, where United took an early lead.

After Ethan Hamilton’s deflected strike found the net, Martell Taylor-Crossdale hit the bar before Castillo curled in the equaliser.

The hosts led at half-time courtesy of Gallagher’s first penalty, which was converted following a foul on Taylor-Crossdale by keeper Theo Richardson.

Richardson atoned with saves to deny Taylor-Crossdale and Callum Hudson-Odoi before Joshua Bohui equalised for United early in the second half.

Gallagher restored the lead with his second spot-kick, this time after McEachran was fouled, but Nishan Burkart brought United level again.

McEachran had the final word, slotting home after being set up by Castillo.
