Chelsea’s Kiwomya suffers injury playing for Crewe

Chelsea youngster Alex Kiwomya suffered a nasty-looking shoulder injury during Crewe’s 2-0 win at Grimsby.

Kiwomya, who has impressed since joining Crewe on loan from the Blues, appeared to be in considerable pain as he left the pitch late in the match.[phone][/phone]

He was taken to hospital after being given gas and air, and his condition is being assessed.

The 20-year-old winger, who previously had spells on loan at Barnsley and Fleetwood, has scored four goals this season.
