Loftus-Cheek having treatment for hamstring problem
Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is having treatment on a hamstring injury.
The 20-year-old was forced to withdraw from the England Under-21 squad for a friendly against France in Bondoufle, south of Paris.[phone][/phone]
He had been tipped to play in the number 10 role in the match but was instead returned to Chelsea to be assessed.
Loftus-Cheek also missed a recent match against Italy but it was hoped he would make a quick return to action.
Former Chelsea youngster John Swift, who was on loan at Brentford last season and is now at Reading, also withdrew because of an injury.
