Brown scores twice in Uefa Youth League win

Charlie Brown continued his scoring run as Chelsea’s Under-19 side cruised to a 3-0 win in the away leg of their Uefa Youth League tie against Elfsborg.

Billy Gilmour scored from the penalty spot in a resounding victory for the young Blues in Sweden, where Brown – the tournament’s top scorer – took his goal tally in this season’s competition to seven.

The visitors led 1-0 at half-time after Brown pounced on the loose ball to score after Elfsborg’s keeper had failed to hold Gilmour’s shot.

Gilmour doubled the lead with a late second with a spot-kick after Marc Guehi was fouled in the box, and Brown netted again in injury time.
