Chelsea reject offer for defender Christensen

Chelsea have turned down an offer of around £14m for defender Andreas Christensen from Borussia Moenchengladbach.

Christensen, 20, signed a two-year loan deal with Moenchengladbach last summer and has played 39 games for them, including five in the Champions League.[phone][/phone]

The German club now want to make the move permanent, but the Blues have rejected their approach.

Christensen has made three first-team appearances for Chelsea, including in the FA Cup defeat by Bradford in January 2015.
