Chelsea recall Sarr and loan Anselmino and Fofana to Strasbourg

Chelsea have confirmed they have recalled defender Mamadou Sarr from a season-long loan at Strasbourg, who have taken Aaron Anselmino and David Fofana on loan from the Blues for the remainder of the season.

Senegal international Sarr, 20, signed for Chelsea from the French club and was loaned back to them.

He has made 18 appearances in Ligue 1 and the Conference League this season.

Defender Anselmino spent the first half of the campaign with Borussia Dortmund, making 10 appearances in all competitions for the German club.

Fofana’s loan move is his fifth since Chelsea signed him in 2023.
