Chelsea set to give Broja new long-term contract

Chelsea are set to give young forward Armando Broja a new long-term contract.

The Slough-born Albania international, 19, has made one first-team appearance for the Blues – as a late substitute during a 4-0 win at home to Everton in March last year.

He was on loan at Vitesse Arnhem last term, scoring 10 goals in 30 league matches for the Dutch club.

Broja is expected to be loaned out again for the coming season, although he will first join the Chelsea squad for pre-season training.

Meanwhile, West Brom are looking to complete a deal to sign Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah.
