Chelsea’s Ampadu ‘a manager’s dream’ – Giggs

Wales boss Ryan Giggs has again heaped praise on Chelsea youngster Ethan Ampadu.
The 18-year-old impressed when given a chance in the Blues first team last season but has not featured since Maurizio Sarri took over as boss.[phone]

However, he has made an impact on the international stage, earning rave reviews for his recent performances for Wales.
Ampadu is part of Giggs’ squad for a friendly against Spain on Thursday and a Nations League match against the Republic of Ireland five days later.
“It’s hard not to get carried away with Ethan because I think he can be anything he wants to be,” said Giggs.
“He is only 18 and he’s not playing regularly, so you have to take that into account. But what a player and character to have – a manager’s dream.
“I know that he loves coming away and playing for his country, and that’s a massive plus for me.”
