Chelsea must be patient in ‘crazy’ transfer market – Conte
Antonio Conte has insisted that Chelsea need to show patience in a “crazy” transfer market.
The club have been linked with a host of players this summer and Conte hopes to further add to his squad before the transfer window closes.
But the Blues boss says they must be prepared to bide their time in order to get the best deals possible
“I talk every day with the club and we have a plan,” he explained.
“We know the transfer market is very crazy and there are different aspects, but we must be patient to find the right solutions for the team.
“When you try to buy a player the cost is very expensive and not the real valuation of the player and it’s a very strange situation.
“It is important to speak every day with the club to find the right solution for people to improve this squad.
“But now I am very happy – very happy to work with these players. They have shown me great commitment every day.”
