Fabregas and Cahill nursing slight injuries

Cesc Fabregas and Gary Cahill are not expected to be involved in Chelsea’s FA Cup replay against Norwich.

Cahill went off after apparently pulling a muscle during Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Leicester, while Fabregas is nursing a hamstring problem.

“Cahill’s is not a serious problem. Also Cesc has a little problem in his hamstring,” explained Blues boss Antonio Conte, who also indicated that Michy Batshuayi will play in Wednesday’s game.

Reports have suggested that striker Batshuayi is on the verge of a loan move from Chelsea to Spanish club Sevilla.

Recent signing Ross Barkley is ineligible for the Norwich match as his transfer from Everton was not registered in time.

Barkley is set to feature in a friendly against QPR’s development side on Thursday.
