John Terry and Ramires are expected to be passed fit for Chelsea’s Champions League clash with Porto.

The Blues need a point at Stamford Bridge against boss Jose Mourinho’s former club to guarantee a place in the knockout stage.

Terry and Ramires have trained ahead of the game and look to set to return to the squad.

Terry has missed the last two matches after suffering an ankle injury during the recent Champions League win against Maccabi Tel Aviv, which Ramires missed after picking up an injury in training ahead of the game.

Meanwhile, Mourinho has shrugged off speculation that he could lose his job if Chelsea fail to get the result they need.

Saturday’s home defeat against Bournemouth was the champions’ eighth league loss of the season and their third in five at home.

Mourinho insisted that experiencing a run of poor results has made him a better manager.

“It is making me better – I never thought I’d be so strong and so highly motivated,” he said.

“Another defeat and the next morning I wake up with more desire to go to work. So it has made me know myself better and I have found myself stronger than I thought.

“When you have bad results it is more difficult and I have found myself really strong. So it is good experience.”

Mourinho added: “I don’t think the owner is a person to change with the wind.

“I know the wind of results is an important wind and I know this wind is really strong because the results in the Premier League are really bad.”
