Chelsea confirm deal for Genk winger

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of winger Kevin De Bruyne from Genk.

De Bruyne, 20, will spend the rest of the season on loan at the Belgian club, where his performances saw him come to the attention of several top European clubs.

He made his Belgium debut in August 2010 and last season was a key player as Genk were crowned champions.

The Blues have also completed the signing of 18-year-old forward Patrick Bamford from Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee.
