Blues duo hopeful of facing Everton

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed that midfielders Frank Lampard and John Mikel Obi look on course for a return to action this weekend.

Both players have been nursing injuries but have resumed training and are hopeful of being involved against Everton on Saturday.

Villas-Boas said: “Obi has trained all week and ‘Lamps’ for one day less, but he will have trained for two days so there is the potential for selection.”

Skipper John Terry remains on the sidelines with a knee problem, as does Ramires.
