Badiashile joins Napoli on loan from Chelsea

Benoit Badiashile has joined Serie A side Napoli on a season-long loan from Chelsea.

The 25-year-old defender moves to Italy in search of regular first-team football after falling down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

Signed from Monaco for around £33m in January 2023, the France international has made 71 appearances in all competitions for the Blues.

He is one of several out-of-favour Chelsea players who have been widely expected to move before the transfer window closes.
