AVB ready to pick Terry for FA Cup clash

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has reiterated that he would have no qualms about selecting captain John Terry for next week’s FA Cup clash at QPR.

Terry could face QPR.

The spotlight will be on Terry and Anton Ferdinand, whose altercation when the two sides met in October resulted in allegations that Terry racially abused the R’s defender.

But Villas-Boas says Terry, who strongly denies any wrongdoing, would be able to handle a return to Loftus Road.

“I’ll have no problem picking him – not at all,” said the Portuguese.

“He’ll have to compete [for a place] against three others, but we’ll make the right decision.”
