Morata on the verge of completing move

Alvaro Morata is on the verge of completing a move to Atletico Madrid.

Chelsea and Atletico have been in talks over a deal for Morata to join the Spanish club and an agreement has been reached. He is set to move on loan with a view to a permanent transfer.

Atletico made an approach for Morata after much speculation over the future of the striker, who has also been linked with the likes of AC Milan, Barcelona and Sevilla.

Morata has struggled since a big-money move to Stamford Bridge from Real Madrid in the summer of 2017.

He will now return to Madrid, while Chelsea are poised to bring in Gonzalo Higuain.
