Transfer gossip: Chelsea reportedly favourites to sign Scott

Some of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Chelsea are supposedly in pole position to sign Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott.

The Daily Mail claim rival clubs believe the Blues will win the race for the 23-year-old, with a fee of around £90m apparently expected to be enough to land him.

Bournemouth are said to want more than £100m, and it is suggested a deal could even be agreed before the January transfer window opens.

Speculation over Estevao’s future

Several Premier League and European clubs are said to be monitoring Estevao Willian’s situation at Chelsea.

The 19-year-old Brazil international was an unused substitute in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup exit at Liverpool and has made six late appearances off the bench in the Premier League this season.

According to the Mail, his lack of game time has caught the attention of clubs in England and abroad, although Chelsea are said to regard him as one of their ‘untouchables’.

Estevao has already been linked with Barcelona this season.

Alexander-Arnold touted for move

Chelsea have been linked with Real Madrid’s former Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Football Insider, quoting former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown, claim the Blues could offer the England right-back a way out of the Bernabeu if he becomes available.

The 28-year-old has reportedly dropped down the pecking order under boss Jose Mourinho.

Como defender also linked

Chelsea are also reported to be keeping tabs on Como centre-back Jacobo Ramon.

The 21-year-old Spain Under-21 international played under Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso in Real Madrid’s youth system, and the Blues are said by the Mail to have been interested in him since last January.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are among a host of clubs tracking Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi, Football Insider claim.
