Macario leaves Chelsea to join San Diego Wave
Chelsea have confirmed that Catarina Macario has returned to her native United States to join Women’s Soccer League side San Diego Wave.
The striker has moved to California after an injury-hampered spell at Chelsea, who signed her from Lyon during the summer of 2023.
Macario made 59 appearances for the Blues and scored 15 goals.
