Aluko moves to Juventus after leaving Chelsea Women

Eni Aluko has joined Juventus Women after helping Chelsea Ladies – now called Chelsea FC Women – to their recent league and cup double.

The striker, who has scored 33 goals in 102 England appearances, announced last month her time at Chelsea was coming to an end.

Now she is set for a new challenge with the current Italian champions.

“Juventus Women are pleased to announce the signing of England international forward Eniola Aluko,” Juventus announced on their website. “Welcome to the Bianconere, Eniola!”

Aluko wrote on Twitter: “Delighted & honoured to join @JuventusFCWomen- Italian champions, a club with an overwhelming history, ambition and success. So proud to hold the shirt worn by an endless list of legends. I can’t wait to get started!! #ForzaJuve”

She has previously also played for Birmingham and Charlton, and spent several years with clubs in the United States.
