Veteran striker Morrison confirms he wants to join Brentford

Clinton Morrison has confirmed that he wants to sign for Brentford.

The former Crystal Palace striker, who ended the season on loan at Griffin Park, is available on a Bosman free transfer as his Sheffield Wednesday contract expires this summer.

He is keen to stay in London and discussions have taken place which could lead to him joining the Bees on permanent basis, although Brentford boss Uwe Rosler is currently considering a number of possible signings.

Morrison told West London Sport: “I want to sign, definitely. The manager has spoken to my agent and my agent then spoke to me, so we’ll see what happens.

“Hopefully it will happen because it’s something I’m interested in. I enjoy it at Brentford. They’re a good bunch of lads and there are great people at the club.”
