Rosler warns Forrester against move

Manager Uwe Rosler says Brentford star Harry Forrester will have to make the biggest decision of his career should a club come in for him in January.

After the strongest indication yet that the midfielder is attracting serious interest, Rosler is hoping Forrester will decide to stay at Griffin Park – where his contract is due to expire at the end of the season.

“I have told Harry he will have to make the biggest decision of his football career,” he said after Forrester was instrumental in Brentford’s dramatic 3-2 victory over MK Dons.

“He will have to get it right. If he does, there are no limits to where he can go. If he doesn’t it could backfire on him.

“We speak to him day-in-day-out, and we hope he will make the right decision to stay with us.

“I hope he realises what he has here at Brentford and that his career has only just started three months ago. He has only played 17 games of immense football.

“He is not the finished article and I think he still has to learn a lot.”

Rosler added: “Harry is a tremendous player – a big game player – and I hope he makes the right choice.”
