Rosler swoops for Tottenham youngster

Brentford manager Uwe Rösler has signed Ryan Fredericks from Tottenham on a season-long loan deal.

Fredericks, who turns 20 next month, can play on either flank as a full-back or wide midfielder.

He has played for Spurs’ first team in the Europa League and is expected to make his debut for the Bees in this weekend’s cup game against Walsall.

Rosler moved to sign Fredericks after being told Brentford would not be able to bring Jake Bidwell back to Griffin Park on loan from Everton.
