Simon Moore is hoping team-mate Harry Forrester commits his future to Brentford.
The club believe there may be interest in Forrester when the transfer window opens next month and are keen for him to sign a new contract at Griffin Park.
Manager Uwe Rosler has warned the young midfielder against moving so soon after establishing himself as a first-team player.
And goalkeeper Moore told West London Sport: “It would be good to get Harry tied down because he’s a fantastic player.
“It’s not surprising if there are big clubs sniffing around him – it’s a credit to him that he’s doing that well.
“We all want him to stay. Over the last few months he’s really showing what he can do and been tearing defences apart.”
