Legge agrees new Bees deal

Brentford defender Leon Legge has signed a new three-year contract at Griffin Park.

Legge, 26, has been watched by Championship clubs Watford and Millwall after a series of impressive performances.

He had made 76 appearances since arriving from non-League Tonbridge Angels in 2009, and his goal against Leyton Orient on Saturday was his seventh for the club.

“We are sure he will play an important role in Brentford’s future,” said Bees sporting director Mark Warburton.
