Forrester relieved after Bees triumph

Brentford matchwinner Harry Forrester spoke of his relief after the dramatic home victory over Coventry.

The Sky Blues led before Forrester hauled his team level by finishing off a fine team move.

And the young midfielder gave Uwe Rosler’s men all three points when he fired home from the penalty spot in injury time after being brought down in the box.

“I feel relief to be honest, as well as joy,” Forrester told West London Sport.

“It came so late in the game we thought frustration was going to prevail. I think we’ve showed what we can do by coming from behind.

“After getting nothing away in the last two games a bad result here could have made things worse.

“But we’re absolutely buzzing that we’ve turned it around. Hopefully we can go on a run now of three, four, five games with three points every week.”

He added:  “I was hoping to be the one to win the game. You always hope it falls to you or even to someone else to just stick the ball away and grab the three points because we deserved it.

“We’ve got the quality to hurt teams and the belief to grind out three points and we did that. It took 93 minutes, but we did it.”
