Brentford striker Hogan scores on return to action

Brentford striker Scott Hogan scored seven minutes into his long-awaited return to action.

The striker, who has been out since August 2014, played an hour for Brentford’s development side in a match against Crystal Palace at Griffin Park on Monday. Andy Gogia scored the home side’s other goal in a 2-2 draw.

Hogan suffered serious knee injury in his second appearance for the Bees following his move from Rochdale.

He sustained more damage to the knee when he was injured in training 10 months ago.
