Brentford rebuff Warburton’s bid for Diagouraga

Diagouraga caught the eye

Brentford have turned down a bid for Toumani Diagouraga from Glasgow Rangers.

Former Bees boss Mark Warburton, now in charge of the Scottish giants, wanted to bring the Frenchman to Ibrox.

But Brentford have rejected the offer as they hope to hang on to their key players in January.

They also rebuffed Sheffield Wednesday’s bid for winger Alan Judge.

Diagouraga, 28, has played 25 times this season for the Bees, taking him to 244 appearances since joining from Peterborough in January 2010.
