Brentford defender Colin may face three months out

Brentford full-back Maxime Colin has revealed he could be out for up to three months with a knee injury.

The summer signing from Anderlecht, who has impressed in his four appearances for the Bees so far, suffered the injury in training on Friday.

He missed the win over Preston, with Josh Clarke pressed into action, and the Frenchman now looks likely to be sidelined for some time.

Writing on his Facebook page, Colin revealed he would be out for eight to 12 weeks.

He added: “Really bad news for me. It’s never welcome but it’s a part of the job and I will work hard to come back better.”
