Brentford have completed the signing of Danish midfielder Mathias Jensen from Celta Vigo and are close to selling defender Ezri Konsa to Aston Villa.
The 21-year-old Konsa, who has a £12m release clause in his contract, joined the Bees on a three-year deal from Charlton last summer. He started in 42 of the club’s 46 Championship fixtures last season.
Jensen, 23, has agreed a four-year contract at Griffin Park with the option of a further year.
He moved to Spain last year from FC Nordsjælland, where he was a team-mate of Brentford’s Emiliano Marcondes.
Jensen was named in Denmark’s preliminary 35-man squad for the 2018 World Cup but did not make the final 23.
