Meanwhile, Chelsea are close to agreeing new contracts with Willian, Tammy Abraham and Reece James, the Times reports.

The club have been negotiating with Willian for almost a year and the Brazilian reportedly wants a two-year deal.

Defender James impressed on loan at Wigan last season, while striker Abraham is hoping to earn a run in the Chelsea first team.

And The Times say all three players are close to committing their futures to the club.

N’Golo Kante has also committed his future to Chelsea by saying he is happy at Stamford Bridge, the Daily Express reports.

Kante, who has repeatedly been linked with Paris St-Germain, said: “It’s rewarding to be wanted by big clubs, when coaches want you in their project it’s nice.

“But I’m happy with my choices and feel good at Chelsea. I’m planning for the next season at Chelsea. I’m happy with my choices and to be in Chelsea.”

And Tottenham are close to completing a deal to sign Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham for around £30m, according to the Mail.
