Thomas Frank described Brentford’s display at the Liberty Stadium as “close to perfect”.
Said Benrahma and Bryan Mbeumo scored crackers – and Jake Bidwell an own goal against his former club – on a great night for the Bees.
Benrahma put them ahead with a brilliant strike, cutting in from the left and firing home in fine style.
They were two up by the interval courtesy of Bidwell diverting Ollie Watkins’ cross into his own net.
And Mbeumo sealed the win with a long-range strike 11 minutes into the second half.
“I see consistent good performances and hopefully there is more to come, but we need to keep our heads down and continue working extremely hard,” Frank added.
