Brentford have completed the signing of centre-back Ethan Pinnock from Barnsley for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old Londoner has signed a three-year contract with the option of a further year.
He is expected to feature in the Bees’ pre-season friendly at AFC Wimbledon on Friday evening.
Pinnock spent two years at Barnsley, having previously played for Forest Green Rovers and Dulwich Hamlet.
Meanwhile, Brentford have also signed French teenager Julien Carre on a two-year contract.
The midfielder, 17, was previously at Brighton.
